Chanel Miller, 'Know My Name' Author, Pens Children's Book

'Magnolia Wu Unfolds It All', a Story of Friendship and Community, Set for April Release

Chanel Miller, author of the award-winning memoir 'Know My Name', has written a children's book titled 'Magnolia Wu Unfolds It All'.
The book, to be released on April 23, is a 'funny and poignant story of friendship and community' set in a New York City laundromat.
The story features a 10-year-old detective and the mystery of missing socks.
Miller, who illustrated the book with her black and white drawings, says she wrote these characters out of a longing to 'move freely through the world with fearless curiosity'.
Miller first came to public attention as 'Emily Doe', the anonymous victim of a sexual assault case that gained national attention.
