Champions League Phase-League Draw Finalized in Monaco With Fixtures Due by Aug. 30

UEFA raised prize money and set an earlier 18:00 CET kickoff for the Budapest final as the single-table format enters its second season.

Overview

  • Each of the 36 clubs was assigned eight opponents via a hybrid manual-and-software draw, with no same-country games and a maximum of two rivals from any one federation.
  • The phase league runs Sept. 16–Jan. 28, playoffs are in February, knockouts from March to May, and the final is on May 30, 2026 at Budapest’s Puskás Arena.
  • UEFA confirmed a 21% prize-money increase to €2.47 billion, including €18.6 million per club for participation plus €2.1 million per win and €700,000 per draw in the phase.
  • The full match schedule for all 144 phase games will be published by Aug. 30, finalizing dates and kick times for clubs, broadcasters and supporters.
  • Broadcast coverage spans Disney+ Premium and Fox Sports in Latin America, CBS Sports/Golazo Network and ViX in the U.S., and regional partners, with PSG seeded in Pot 1 as reigning champion and England leading entries with six clubs.
