• Chambersburg police say Carol Ferry was struck in a marked crosswalk at West Washington and Water streets just after 7 p.m. on Oct. 7 and later died.
• Officers arrested 47-year-old Jorge Santamaria of Chambersburg, who police say was driving on a suspended license.
• Police say Santamaria initially stopped after the collision but left without rendering aid or providing his information.
• Santamaria is charged with accidents involving death or personal injury, accidents involving death or injury while not licensed, and driving under suspension that is DUI related.
• He is being held in Franklin County Prison on $150,000 bail, and investigators say they will release more information as the case proceeds.
