• With 407 votes in favor, 15 against and one abstention, the plenary in San Lázaro approved the Jucopo-selected candidate and administered the oath of office.
• The united commissions advanced six finalists with a 50–0 vote, then sent the list to Jucopo to propose a single profile for the floor vote.
• The finalist slate comprised Oscar Daniel Del Río Serrano, Martha Patricia Carrillo Núñez, Gabriela Limón García, Perla Lizeth Torres López, Sergio Paul Monroy Vicenteño and César Iván Rodríguez Sánchez.
• The OIC serves as the FGR’s internal watchdog responsible for preventing, investigating and sanctioning administrative misconduct to uphold legality and efficient use of resources.
• Del Río Serrano replaces Arturo Serrano, who left in August following corruption allegations, and his profile notes prior FGR audit oversight experience, graduate degrees, a 2019 Mejoredu appointment and familial ties to ASF official José Manuel del Río Virgen.
