Chainsaw Man Announces New Movie Focusing on Character Reze

Inspired by the animated movie Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, the film will adapt the Reze/Bomb Girl Arc from the manga.

Chainsaw Man, the popular anime series, has announced a new movie titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which will continue the story after the first season and will focus on the character Reze.
Reze, the main antagonist in the next arc of the Chainsaw Man anime, is a devil hybrid from the Soviet Union whose mission involves stealing Chainsaw Man’s heart.
The movie will adapt the Reze/Bomb Girl Arc which runs for twelve chapters (40-52) in the manga, featuring Reze, the Bomb Devil, and the Typhoon Devil.
Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, revealed that the relationship between Denji and Reze in the upcoming movie is inspired by the animated movie Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade.
No official release date for the movie has been announced yet, but it is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
