Chainsaw Man Announces New Movie Focusing on Character Reze
Inspired by the animated movie Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, the film will adapt the Reze/Bomb Girl Arc from the manga.
- Chainsaw Man, the popular anime series, has announced a new movie titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which will continue the story after the first season and will focus on the character Reze.
- Reze, the main antagonist in the next arc of the Chainsaw Man anime, is a devil hybrid from the Soviet Union whose mission involves stealing Chainsaw Man’s heart.
- The movie will adapt the Reze/Bomb Girl Arc which runs for twelve chapters (40-52) in the manga, featuring Reze, the Bomb Devil, and the Typhoon Devil.
- Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, revealed that the relationship between Denji and Reze in the upcoming movie is inspired by the animated movie Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade.
- No official release date for the movie has been announced yet, but it is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
