Overview
- A Tower Transit service 853 bus rear-ended an SBS Transit service 852 bus at a bus stop at Block 790 Yishun Ave 2, and a third bus on SBS Transit service 851 became involved in the chain collision.
- Six passengers reported injuries and three were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for treatment.
- The Singapore Civil Defence Force attended the scene and provided emergency medical care while the roadway remained passable to traffic.
- Tower Transit said its team assisted on scene, is trying to contact the hospitalized passengers to offer care, and set up a hotline at 1800 248 0950 for affected riders or family members.
