• Chad Stahelski and his 87Eleven Entertainment partners have signed on to produce the Calexit feature with Black Mask Studios’ creative team
• Matteo Pizzolo, who co-founded Black Mask and co-created the comic, has written the spec script and will serve as a producer
• The project remains in early development without a committed studio or streaming partner for financing and distribution
• Calexit was originally optioned for a television series by MRC in a five-studio bidding war before the rights reverted to Black Mask Studios
• Since its 2017 debut, the comic has gone through seven printings and spawned multiple spinoffs with its near-future political storyline
