CFP Rankings: Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M Stay 1–3 as Georgia Takes No. 4, Oklahoma Rises and Alabama Falls

The third release sets projected byes under straight seeding and reshapes the 12-team bracket with Oklahoma’s surge, Alabama’s drop, and Tulane newly occupying the Group of 5 spot.

  • No. 9 Notre Dame at No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 12 Tulane at No. 5 Texas Tech, No. 11 Miami at No. 6 Ole Miss, and No. 10 Alabama at No. 7 Oregon would make up the on-campus first-round games.
  • Oklahoma climbed to No. 8 after beating Alabama, which slid six places to No. 10, and Texas dropped to No. 17 following its 35-10 loss at Georgia.
  • Miami sits at No. 13 as the highest-ranked ACC team but has a tenuous path to the conference title game, leaving its playoff route uncertain.
