  • The national operational reserve margin has stayed above 10% since May, reaching peaks of 17.25% in Baja California and 10.1% in the Yucatán Peninsula.
  • CFE completed 270 preventive maintenance operations this year, covering 27,923 MW—more than half of daily national consumption.
  • Advance fuel scheduling and the retention of up to 7% extra generation capacity beyond regulatory requirements ensured uninterrupted service during peak demand.
  • Salamanca, Villa de Reyes and Mérida IV combined-cycle plants entered operation in 2025, and offline units were brought back online to boost system readiness.
