Overview
- CFE Internet now offers paid mobile data plans from 5 GB for 95 pesos per month up to 100 GB for around 995 pesos.
- Subscribers sign up on cfeinternet.mx, select a package and verify coverage by entering their postal code.
- A one-time MiFi device purchase priced at about 1,140–1,145 pesos is required and includes an initial month of 5 GB service.
- Payment options range from monthly to semiannual or annual billing, with longer commitments lowering the effective monthly cost.
- The service repurposes CFE’s fiber and partner networks to reach rural and marginalized communities, though users note smaller data allowances may deplete quickly.
