CF Montreal has dismissed Laurent Courtois following a 0-4-1 start to the 2025 MLS season, with the team sitting last in the Eastern Conference.
Assistant coach Marco Donadel has been named interim head coach, with no other changes to the coaching staff announced.
Montreal has struggled offensively, failing to score since their season-opening 3-2 loss to Atlanta United on February 22.
Courtois was hired in January 2024 after a successful stint with Columbus Crew 2 and led Montreal to the wild-card playoffs last season.
Donadel will make his debut as interim head coach on March 29 against the Chicago Fire, ahead of the team's home opener on April 12 against Charlotte FC.
