Cesc Fabregas Steps Up as Interim Manager for Italian Side Como

Former Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona Midfielder Takes on First Senior Management Role

Cesc Fabregas, former Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder, has been named interim manager of Italian Serie B side Como.
This is Fabregas's first senior management role, succeeding Moreno Longo.
Fabregas had played 17 times for Como last season before retiring and becoming coach of their youth and reserve teams.
Como is currently sixth in the Serie B table with 21 points from their first 12 games.
Fabregas's first match in charge will be at home to Feralpisalo after the international break on 25 November.
