- This is Fabregas's first senior management role, succeeding Moreno Longo.
- Fabregas had played 17 times for Como last season before retiring and becoming coach of their youth and reserve teams.
- Como is currently sixth in the Serie B table with 21 points from their first 12 games.
- Fabregas's first match in charge will be at home to Feralpisalo after the international break on 25 November.
