Cerebras Systems unveils the Wafer Scale Engine 3 (WSE-3), the world's largest AI chip, boasting 4 trillion transistors and 900,000 AI cores.
The WSE-3 chip will power the Condor Galaxy 3 supercomputer, capable of 8 exaFLOPs, doubling the performance of its predecessor at the same power and cost.
Condor Galaxy 3, under construction in Dallas, Texas, will join the Condor Galaxy network, aiming for a total of 16 exaFLOPs and future expansion to over 55 exaFLOPs.
Cerebras' partnership with Qualcomm aims to optimize AI inference, potentially reducing costs by 10 times through techniques like sparsity and speculative decoding.
