Cerebras and G42 unveil world's largest AI training supercomputer using giant wafers as chips

Cerebras Systems and G42 have unveiled an AI training supercomputer called Condor Galaxy with 54 million cores.
The Cerebras chips are much larger than traditional AI chips and provide immense computing power.
The first supercomputer is coming online in 2023 as part of a $100 million deal between Cerebras and G42.
G42 plans to offer AI services to healthcare and energy firms using the Cerebras supercomputers.
Cerebras hopes to compete with Nvidia in meeting global demand for powerful AI computing chips.
