Overview
- The Ministry of Education withdrew Director B. V. Ramana Reddy’s administrative and financial powers at NIT Kurukshetra with immediate effect.
- The government formed a three-member review team under provisions of the NITSER Act, led by Anil Sahasrabudhe with M. Madan Gopal and K. K. Shukla, and set a one-month deadline for its report.
- The panel will examine governance, academic and administrative work, hiring and promotion practices, staff grievances, and complaints forwarded by the Central Vigilance Commission.
