Overview

• The Department of School Education and Literacy published the final list of honorees drawn from schools across India.
• Five recipients are from PM SHRI schools, with three each from Maharashtra and Bihar and two each from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
• Boarding and lodging for the awardees will be provided at The Ashok hotel in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, from the afternoon of September 3 to the forenoon of September 6.
• A briefing for all recipients is scheduled at 5 pm on September 3 at the hotel, followed by a rehearsal on September 4 ahead of the Teachers’ Day ceremony.
• The 2025 selection followed an online self-nomination process that opened on June 23.
