Overview

  • President Droupadi Murmu will confer the honours on Teachers’ Day, with the higher-education ceremony confirmed at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on September 5.
  • The Department of School Education & Literacy released the official list of 45 school-teacher awardees, including five from PM SHRI schools and multiple recipients from Maharashtra and Bihar.
  • Each school award recipient will receive a certificate of merit, a silver medal, and Rs 50,000 as part of the recognition.
