• Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh unveiled the Kapas Kisan mobile app on September 2, developed by the Cotton Corporation of India under the Ministry of Textiles.

• MSP procurement begins October 1 in northern states, October 15 in central states, and October 21 in southern states, with Aadhaar-based self-registration, 7-day rolling slot booking, direct NACH payments, and helplines with local grievance committees.
