Overview
- Uttar Pradesh will see procurement of 2.27 lakh tonnes of urad, 1.13 lakh tonnes of tur, 1,983 tonnes of moong, 30,410 tonnes of sesame and 99,438 tonnes of groundnut.
- Gujarat’s plan covers 47,780 tonnes of urad, 4,415 tonnes of moong, 1.09 lakh tonnes of soybean and 12.62 lakh tonnes of groundnut.
- NAFED and NCCF have been asked to pre-register farmers so only verified sellers can access MSP.
- Purchases will be executed on e-Samriddhi and e-Samyukti with Aadhaar-based biometric or facial checks and POS devices deployed at centres, roughly 350 in Uttar Pradesh and around 400 in Gujarat.
- Approved volumes may be revised after the first advance estimates for Kharif 2025–26 to align support with crop assessments.
