Overview

• Union Jal Shakti Minister C. R. Patil cited Damodar Valley Reservoir Regulation Committee data showing releases of 42,500 cusecs from Maithon and 27,500 cusecs from Panchet, rejecting the 1.5 lakh cusec figure.
