Centre Approves Rs 81,735 Crore Extra Tax Devolution for States on June 2

  • States currently receive 41 per cent of centrally collected taxes in instalments over the fiscal year.
  • India achieved 6.5 per cent real GDP growth in FY2024-25 with a 7.4 per cent expansion in the fourth quarter, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said.
