Central Railway Reports 30.75 Lakh Ticketless Riders, Rs 183 Crore in Fines for Apr–Dec 2025

  • Pune Division logged 3.41 lakh ticketless passengers and recovered Rs 20.84 crore, alongside ongoing checks on its suburban services.
  • Enforcement used station, ambush, fortress and intensive checks plus mega drives, with officials urging tickets via counters, ATVMs, IRCTC or the Rail One app and warning of penalties up to seven years for fraudulent tickets.
