Overview
- The inaugural special, train No. 01401, was flagged off from Beed on Thursday, Sept 17, 2026, by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar with MP Bajrang Sonavane and MLA Sandeep Kshirsagar in attendance.
- The train runs from Beed to Pune and stops at Amalner Bhandyache, New Ashti, Narayandoho, Ahilyanagar, Shrigonda Road, Daund Chord Line and Uruli.
- The rake for the inaugural run includes two AC 2‑Tier coaches, three AC 3‑Tier coaches, four Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one Second Seating‑cum‑Guard’s Brake Van and one generator van.
- Central Railway says the Pune–Beed–Pune regular daily service (Train Nos. 11434/11433) will begin shortly and that detailed timings and stoppages will be published separately.
- The service follows commissioning of the Ahilyanagar–Beed section of the Ahilyanagar–Beed–Parli Vaijnath project and is expected to cut road travel time, lower fares for commuters, help farmers move produce, and widen access to education, medical care and pilgrimage sites.
