Central Railway Completes First KAVACH Loco Trial in Solapur

  • Central Railway operationalised a KAVACH simulation lab and training centre at Kurduwadi alongside a new factory acceptance test setup to support training and implementation.
  • The Unified KAVACH Control Centre in Bhusawal is now monitoring 134 locations with a dedicated network monitoring system for real-time supervision.
  • The Railway Board has sanctioned fitment on 730 Central Railway locomotives in the first phase, with installations in progress after the 50th equipped loco was flagged off on August 25.
