Overview

• Indian Railways will run 12 LTT–Varanasi festival specials from October 13/14 to November 17/18, with Train 04225 bookings starting October 12 and a 15-coach AC-heavy composition.
• Solapur Division has extended the SMVT Bengaluru–Bidar bi‑weekly specials for 18 more trips, continuing through October 31 for 06539 and November 1 for 06540 with existing halts and composition.
• Pune Division announced a Khadki–Sanganer bi‑weekly superfast Train on Demand service from October 18 to November 9 with fares at 1.3 times normal and bookings opening October 13.
• Central Railway’s festival list also includes a Khadki–Hazrat Nizamuddin bi‑weekly special running October 15–27 with defined halts and 16 AC 3‑tier coaches plus brake vans.
• A scheduled mega block will halt Harbour Line services between Kurla and Vashi from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm on October 12, with alternative routes via Thane–Vashi/Nerul and no block on the Main Line.
