• A coastal eddy is likely to form and help push marine air into coastal valleys and lower mountain slopes, producing patchy drizzle in spots rather than widespread rain.
• Highs during the cooler period are forecast to run about 5–10°F below normal, generally in the mid 70s to upper 80s, with modest warming expected late in the week that will be limited by a nearby closed low.
• Tropical systems off western Mexico are active but not currently expected to send a major moisture surge to the Central Coast, and model uncertainty about late-week disturbances is the main forecast risk to watch.
