Central Cee and Ayra Starr Shine at 2025 MOBO Awards in Newcastle

Central Cee secured Best Male Act for the second consecutive year, bringing his total MOBO wins to seven and tying him with Stormzy as the most-awarded UK rapper in the event's history.
Ayra Starr made history as the first female artist in 16 years to win Best African Music Act and also took home the Best International Act award.
Bashy won two awards, including Album of the Year for 'Being Poor Is Expensive,' marking his return to prominence 15 years after his debut record.
The MOBO Impact Award was presented to Jamaican DJ Vybz Kartel for his significant influence on music, as highlighted by MOBO founder Kanya King.
The event, hosted in Newcastle for the first time, featured performances by Darkoo, Bashy, Odeal, and others, and will air highlights on BBC One on February 21.
