Celeste Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Free 3D Spinoff

Extremely OK Games, the developer behind the acclaimed platformer Celeste, has released a free 3D spinoff titled Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain to celebrate the game's sixth anniversary.
The new game, inspired by Nintendo 64 and PS1 era platformers, was created in about a week and is available for download on Itch.io for Windows and Linux PCs.
Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain allows players to explore Celeste Mountain in a new way, with gameplay elements translated from 2D to 3D.
The original Celeste, released in 2018, was praised for its challenging platforming mechanics and its sensitive depiction of mental health issues.
Extremely OK Games is currently working on its next title, Earthblade, set to release in 2024.
