Gomez's body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition, indicating she may have been dead for several days before being found.

Gomez worked for her mother's design firm, Gomez Associates, for 18 years before launching her own firm, Brooke Gomez Design, in 2019.
Gomez was known for her appearance on the second season of Bravo's 'Bethenny Ever After', where she designed Frankel's luxury Tribeca loft.
