Overview
- On June 28 Siren’s Curse paused at its signature 45-degree tilt, leaving riders suspended for nearly 10 minutes before a 25-minute closure and safe evacuation
- Cedar Point spokesperson Tony Clark said the coaster’s safety mechanisms performed as designed and that no injuries were reported
- As North America’s first tilt coaster, Siren’s Curse joins only one other such ride worldwide at Lihpao Land in Taiwan
- Manufactured by Vekoma, the attraction climbs 160 feet, reaches 58 mph and travels just under 3,000 feet of track before dropping vertically
- The ride marks Cedar Point’s 17th roller coaster and further expands the park’s lineup since its 2024 merger with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
