CEC Rajiv Kumar's Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Uttarakhand

The helicopter carrying Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar landed safely in Pithoragarh due to adverse weather conditions.

The helicopter was en route to Milam glacier when it was forced to land in Ralam village, approximately 42 kilometers from Munsiyari.
Adverse weather conditions prompted the emergency landing, according to the Pithoragarh district magistrate.
All passengers, including CEC Rajiv Kumar and Uttarakhand's Additional Chief Election Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande, are reported to be safe.
Authorities are monitoring the weather to determine when it will be safe to continue the journey to Munsiyari.
If weather conditions do not improve, the officials will stay at the nearby Indo Tibetan Border Police camp.
