CEC Gyanesh Kumar to Begin Three-Day Odisha Tour, Meet BLOs on Dec. 29

Overview

• The visit runs December 27–29 with scheduled stops at Puri’s Shree Jagannath Temple and the Konark Sun Temple on the first day.
• Sunday’s itinerary includes Raghurajpur heritage village, the Dhauli Shanti Stupa, the Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves, and the Mukteswar temple.
• A meeting with booth-level officers is set for December 29 at 3 pm at the OUAT auditorium in Bhubaneswar.
• Officials said Kumar will address about 700 BLOs from a statewide cadre of more than 45,000.
• The meeting agenda has not been announced, though sources say it is expected to prepare BLOs for the SIR, in which they conduct house-to-house distribution and collection of enumeration forms.
