Overview

• Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan unveiled doctrines for Special Forces Operations and for Airborne and Heliborne Operations.
• The release occurred at the RAN SAMWAD Tri-Service Seminar at the Army War College in Dr Ambedkar Nagar, Madhya Pradesh.
• Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, and Vice Chief of the Army Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh attended the ceremony.
• Developed by the Doctrine Directorate at Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff with input from all three services, the texts set guiding principles, operational concepts, and interoperability mechanisms.
