Overview

  • The two-day tri-service seminar at the Army War College in Mhow is underway with serving officers leading sessions, curated by HQ IDS and CENJOWS with ARTRAC under the CDS’s guidance.
  • Gen Anil Chauhan called for unified, swift and decisive responses to evolving multi-domain threats, stressing joint thinking, planning and execution across the services.
  • He said Operation Sindoor was a modern conflict with lessons already being implemented and noted that the operation remains ongoing.
  • Outlining Mission Sudarshan Chakra, he described an Iron Dome–like, multi-layered shield that will require extensive tri-service integration, multi-domain ISR, AI, advanced computation, data analytics and quantum technologies, backed by a whole-of-nation effort.
  • Organisers are releasing several joint doctrines and the Technology Perspective & Capability Roadmap during the event, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh slated to deliver the plenary address on the final day.
