CDS Chauhan Uses Defence Brainstorm to Drive R&D Push, Warn Suppliers on Delays

  • Chauhan cautioned suppliers against overpromising and missing deadlines, urging truthful disclosure of indigenous content and stressing the need to deliver on time at competitive prices.
  • Air Marshal Dixit called for a stronger domestic industrial base with emphasis on technological advancement and research and development.
  • Organisers said session outcomes aim to advance self-reliance and operational readiness, with the CDS pointing to lessons from Operation Sindoor and recent electronic warfare and drone exercises involving industry.
