- Vehicles with verification holograms 1 and 2 bearing red stickers and plate endings 3 or 4 cannot circulate from 05:00 to 22:00.
- The rule applies across the 16 Mexico City boroughs and in covered State of Mexico municipalities, including newly incorporated areas in the Valle de Toluca and Santiago Tianguistenco.
- CAMe has not activated Doble Hoy No Circula, and the city’s monitoring service reports good air quality with hourly updates.
- Exempt vehicles include those with hologram 0 or 00, electric or hybrid cars, motorcycles, public transport, taxis, emergency units, and authorized health‑worker vehicles.
- Violations can bring fines of roughly 20–30 UMAs (about 2,300–3,500 pesos) and vehicle impoundment in CDMX, and foreign or permit vehicles are also subject to the restriction window.
