City officials urge riders to plan trips, use alternate stations, and follow official channels for real‑time changes during Fiestas Patrias events.

Overview

  • Metro runs regular hours on Sept. 15 (05:00–24:00) and holiday hours on Sept. 16 (07:00–24:00), with Zócalo‑Tenochtitlán station closed on Tuesday from the start of service.
  • Metrobús extends night service on Sept. 15 with line‑specific last runs posted by Semovi, then operates 05:00–24:00 on Sept. 16 with route adjustments and temporary closures along the Centro Histórico and Reforma for the military parade.
  • Other systems adjust Sept. 16 schedules: RTP 06:00–00:00, Trolebús main lines 06:00–23:30 with select lines from 05:00–00:00, Tren Ligero 07:00–23:30, and Cablebús 07:00–23:00.
  • Bike measures expand capacity: ECOBICI operates 05:00–00:30 with bike parking 07:00–00:00, and bicycles are permitted on Metro, Cablebús, and Tren Ligero, with access on Metrobús, Trolebús, and RTP subject to space.
  • Authorities recommend using nearby alternatives to Zócalo such as Pino Suárez, Allende, Bellas Artes, and San Juan de Letrán, and note that parquímetros, licensing and vehicle‑control modules, and ECOBICI CAPU will not operate on Sept. 16.
