CDMX Publishes Preschool, First-Grade and Special‑Education School Assignments

The release starts a short online window for parents to request school changes that will only be approved if seats are available.

Overview

  • The Autoridad Educativa Federal en la Ciudad de México published assignment results for preescolar, 1º de primaria and educación especial on the AEFCM preinscriptions portal, a release that went live Sunday, June 14 and can be checked using the student’s CURP and folio.
  • Families may submit online requests to change the assigned school from June 16 to June 18, but any approved change cancels the original placement and moves the student only when the destination school has an open seat.
  • The SEP set separate dates for remaining results: CAM Laboral assignments will be posted from June 18 and ordinary secondary assignment results are scheduled for August 4.
  • Households that missed the ordinary registration can use extemporaneous windows to seek placement: July 8–16 for preescolar and 1º de primaria, and August 6–12 for ingreso a 1º de secundaria, with assignments limited to available spots.
  • The SEP reiterated that preinscriptions and registrations in public schools are free, warned families against paying improper fees, and linked enrollment steps to the national Vive Saludable, Vive Feliz student health program.
