Overview
- Metrobús announced the change in a December 29 communiqué and social media post confirming the route’s termination.
- The support service began in November 2023 and was extended in April 2024 to connect with Metrobús Lines 7 and 9 during Line 1 works.
- Twelve‑meter articulated buses from the discontinued route will shift to Garibaldi–Campo Marte and Indios Verdes–La Diana, continuing along Paseo de la Reforma.
- Line 7 will continue operating the following routes: Indios Verdes–Campo Marte, Hospital Infantil La Villa–Campo Marte, Indios Verdes–La Diana, Hospital Infantil La Villa–La Diana, and Garibaldi–Campo Marte.
- Riders were urged to check destination displays on the front and side of buses, follow operational staff instructions, respect queues, and plan trips in advance of the change.
