• Clara Brugada Molina officially presented the operational phase of “La Policía Cerca de Ti” in Iztacalco, expanding coverage from 37 to 49 quadrants
• The Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana will begin receiving 3,000 new patrol vehicles next week to modernize its fleet across 1,020 citywide quadrants
• Each patrol unit will be marked by quadrant and colonia to ensure officers are identifiable and foster direct community engagement
• Since the June 18 pilot launch, officers have conducted over 330,000 home visits citywide, including 14,236 in Iztacalco, to build trust and assess local needs
• Residents are invited to a citizen evaluation assembly on August 8 to review the program’s performance and suggest improvements
