Overview

• The 2025 Hombres Bienestar rollout concluded on August 28 with the last 10,000 supports delivered at the Zócalo, reaching 77,000 beneficiaries funded with 1,300 million pesos.
• Today, August 30, is the final day in the current intake to register for Mujeres Bienestar (ages 60–64) and the federal Adultos Mayores pension (65+), with all surname letters received at Bienestar modules.
• Adultos Mayores pays 6,200 pesos bimonthly via Banco del Bienestar, while Hombres Bienestar in CDMX provides 3,000 pesos every two months to men aged 60–64 who reside in the capital.
• The CDMX government plans to propose adding another 77,000 Hombres Bienestar slots in the 2026 budget, a move that requires approval by the local Congress.
• From September 2025, beneficiaries with disabilities who turn 30 in states without universal coverage will lose the pension, whereas states with universal eligibility will keep the support regardless of age.
