Overview

• From Aug. 13 to 16, Fibien will issue new Mi Beca para Empezar cards to secondary students in Mexico City, transferring existing balances to the replacements.
• On Aug. 16, the Fideicomiso Bienestar Educativo will deposit electronic vouchers for uniforms and school supplies into beneficiaries’ Mi Beca para Empezar accounts.
• Prospective federal Beca Rita Cetina applicants must complete Llave MX digital-ID registration before Sept. 1 to enroll preschool, primary or new secondary students in the 1,900-peso bimonthly support program.
• The Estado de México will open its private-school tuition exemption scholarship registration throughout September, organized by surname initial and requiring a minimum 8.5 grade average.
• Michoacán education authorities plan to onboard at least 200,000 primary students into the Beca Rita Cetina in early 2026, pending final approval from the Finance Ministry.
