CD Projekt Red Rejects Acquisition Possibilities, Focuses on Future Growth

Studio behind The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 plans to expand with new projects, maintaining its independence

CD Projekt Red, the studio behind The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, has stated it is not interested in being acquired, according to CEO Adam Kiciński.
The company values its independence and believes it will be even bigger and stronger in a few years, with ambitious plans for the future.
Kiciński also stated that CD Projekt Red is not currently interested in acquiring another studio purely for financial consolidation.
The studio is currently working on several projects, including the next mainline Witcher game, codenamed “Polaris”, and the next Cyberpunk game, codenamed “Orion”.
CD Projekt Red is also developing a new IP, codenamed “Hadar”, which is currently in the conceptual phase.
