CCSHAU Talks Stall as Students Insist on Vice-Chancellor’s Removal

  • Students have called a ‘Justice for Students’ mahapanchayat on June 24 in Hisar to intensify their campaign for the VC’s ouster and the arrest of the registrar and chief security officer.
  • Opposition parties including Congress, JJP and INLD have lent public support to the protest, with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge joining via video call.
  • Hisar police have arrested Assistant Professor Radhey Shyam and charged seven others, among them the university registrar and chief security officer, in connection with the June 10 incident.
