- Investigators found the mains cable can be connected in reverse, potentially linking the live pin to earth and creating a serious electrocution hazard.
- Consumers may continue to use heating systems but must not handle, disconnect, adjust or attempt maintenance on affected pumps.
- Tucson Pumps is offering free replacements carried out by approved, qualified technicians, and retailers have been told to stop sales as tradespeople are warned to avoid the electrical connections.
