Overview
- The board cancelled the Jaipur school’s affiliation up to senior secondary with immediate effect following the November 1 death of a Class 4 student who allegedly jumped from the fourth floor.
- Students in Classes 10 and 12 may continue at the campus for the 2025–26 board exams, while current Class 9 and 11 students will be shifted to nearby schools for the 2026–27 session.
- The school is barred from new admissions or promoting lower classes into 9 and 11 by natural progression, and the state director of secondary education will decide the recognition status for Classes 1–8.
- The inquiry found parents had reported bullying multiple times over about 18 months, the class teacher failed to act even after the child sought help five times, and there were systemic lapses including inadequate CCTV retention and monitoring, missing safety nets, weak counselling, no functional anti‑bullying mechanism, and cleaning of blood‑stained stairs.
- CBSE said the school may seek restoration only after verified compliance, with secondary‑level affiliation eligible from 2027–28 and senior secondary possible only at least two academic years thereafter.
