CBSE To Release Class 10 Second‑Board Results by Month‑End
The rolling release will let roughly 6.7 lakh candidates retrieve provisional marksheets online using their board login details.
Overview
- The Class 10 improvement and compartment exams were held May 15–21, and CBSE has said results are expected by the end of June though no exact date or time has been posted.
- CBSE recorded 668,854 registrations for the second‑board session, including 525,655 improvement‑only, 85,285 compartment‑only and 57,914 who registered for both categories.
- Students will be able to view and download provisional scorecards on cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and on government platforms such as DigiLocker and UMANG.
- To access marksheets candidates must enter board credentials including roll number, school/registration or admit card ID and date of birth, and alternative access methods include SMS and IVRS if official sites are slow.
- The two‑board system introduced this year offers a formal second chance to improve marks; CBSE’s Phase 1 data shows a high national pass rate and the second phase will determine which students advance to Class 11 or need to reappear next year.
