CBSE Sets October Special Exams for Class 12 Students in West Asia

The board will run subject-by-subject papers at a single centre in each country so candidates can replace earlier assessed marks by retaking only the subjects they choose.

Overview

  • CBSE released the Class 12 special exam date sheet Friday and scheduled tests from October 23 to October 28, 2026 for eligible students in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
  • The timetable lists subject-wise exam days and normal paper times of 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, with some vocational papers set for 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
  • Admit cards will be available for download starting October 12 through the same login used to submit each candidate’s List of Candidates (LOC).
  • The board has designated one exam centre per country based on LOCs, and it will treat marks from these tests as final, replacing results produced earlier under the March 27 special assessment scheme.
  • The exams give affected students a clear route to change their scores and may affect university admission or certification timing after the March–April cancellations and the May 13 interim results.
