Overview
- CBSE, which issued Notification-2 on Friday, will finalize Class 12 results for seven West Asian countries using a defined alternative scheme.
- Unfinished subjects will rely on school tests, and practical or internal marks already uploaded stay unchanged, while completed papers use actual board scores.
- For 80- or 70-mark theory papers, the best of three school exam scores will count, while 60, 50 or 30-mark papers will use the final pre-board or an earlier pre-board if needed.
- Schools must upload marks from April 6 to April 13 on a CBSE portal and keep sealed records for possible verification.
- The policy follows the cancellation of all remaining March–April exams because of the regional US–Israel–Iran conflict and allows fresh or July supplementary exams if conditions permit.
