Overview
- CBSE announced a nationwide webinar for November 20 to explain the conduct and modalities of the NEP‑mandated dual‑session Class 10 exams.
- The briefing is open to all and will stream on CBSE’s official YouTube channel with schools, teachers, parents and officials invited to attend.
- Under the new system, students take a mandatory February–March exam and may opt for a May attempt to improve up to three subjects, with the best score recorded on the marksheet.
- Results are scheduled for April and June for the two sessions respectively, replacing the earlier supplementary model with a full second attempt on the complete syllabus.
- CBSE released the datesheet earlier than usual with exams beginning February 17, and it has coordinated with the NTA to avoid overlaps with JEE Main, which now requires CBSE registration numbers during application.
